Exmouth: Big Fish Worship

One of the reasons I wanted to visit Western Australia was to see the Coral Coast, home of the famous Ningaloo Coast, a world heritage site and  where you can swim with whale sharks, the biggest fish still in existence.

We are staying at the town of Exmouth for the next five days so we can explore this area.  The town of Exmouth exists and worships the whale sharks for the tourist money the season brings.

I have seen more German tourists than Australians.  Definitely more than live kangaroos.

Birds around the caravan park.  No kangaroos.

As I was told by a Swiss man: Germany is a great place to visit — because there aren’t any German tourists there.
